Band Front Lateral Raise
How to do it
Starting position
- Step on the band or anchor it at ankle height.
- Let the arm holding the handle hang at your side.
- Keep your torso upright and brace your abs.
Movement
- Keep your arms straight and raise them halfway between front and side to shoulder height.
- Pause briefly at the top.
- Lower slowly against the resistance.
- Complete the target reps and switch arms.
Breathing
Exhale as you lift and inhale as you lower.
Cautions
- If you lift well above shoulder height, your traps take over.
- Do not lean your body sideways to use momentum.
