Barbell Overhead Press: Are you arching your lower back as you press?

Brace your abs and use your upper body to press up. Do not arch your lower back as you press.

How to fix it

  1. Stand with the bar in front of your collarbones.
  2. Brace your abs and stand upright as you press the bar overhead.
  3. Fully straighten your arms, then slowly lower the bar.
Caution Do not use momentum from your legs to press up.

The app sets the weight for your next set

(For exercises you added to your routine yourself) For example, if you are a beginner and completed all 3 sets of 8 reps at 30kg as planned in your last workout, the app sets your next weight to 32.5kg. When you log your sets, GYMKC reads your last set and recalculates the weight and reps for your next set.
