Push-Up: Does your lower back sag?
Keep your body in a straight line from your head to your heels as you lower and raise yourself, so your lower back does not sag.
How to fix it
- Place your hands on the floor about shoulder-width apart.
- Brace your abs to keep your body straight.
- Bend your elbows to lower your body, then push against the floor to come back up.
The app sets the reps for your next set
(For exercises you added to your routine yourself) For example, if you are a beginner and completed all 3 sets of 20 reps using your bodyweight as planned in your last workout, the app keeps your reps the same and increases the number of sets to 4. When you log your sets, GYMKC reads your last set and recalculates the reps for your next set.

Sources differ. Some suggest lowering until your chest touches or almost touches the floor. One study had participants lower until their elbows were bent 90 degrees. Either way, keep your body straight as you lower yourself.
