Seated Leg Curl: Do your hips lift off the seat?
Keep your hips against the seat as you bend your knees to pull. Do not let your hips lift.
How to fix it
- Lower the thigh pad to just above your knees to hold your legs in place.
- Keep your hips against the seat as you bend your knees to pull.
- Return slowly, resisting the weight as you go.
Caution Do not jerk the weight using momentum.
The app sets the reps for your next set
For example, if you are a beginner and completed all 13 reps in each set at 30kg as planned in your last workout, the app keeps the weight the same and increases your reps to 14. When you log your sets, GYMKC reads your last set and recalculates the weight and reps for your next set.

Should you fully straighten your legs as you return?
Sources differ. Some suggest returning until your knees are straight. Others suggest stopping just before they are fully straight. Either way, return slowly while resisting the weight.
