Bodyweight Skullcrusher
How to do it
Starting position
- Get into a push-up position on your toes.
- Place your hands close together slightly in front of your shoulders, below your face.
- Brace your abs and keep your torso firmly locked.
Movement
- Bend your elbows and slowly lower your forearms to the floor.
- Keep your elbows pointing toward your feet and do not flare them out to the sides.
- Push through the floor with your palms, extending your elbows to return to the starting position.
Breathing
Inhale as you lower down and exhale as you press back up.
Cautions
- If your elbows hurt, drop to your knees or reduce the range of motion.
- Do not let your forearms drop to the floor; lower them slowly.
- Keep your abs braced so your lower back does not sag.
