Band Lying Reverse Grip Row
How to do it
Starting position
- Incline the bench and anchor the band to a low point in front of the bench.
- Lie face down with your chest against the bench.
- Grip the handles with your palms facing up.
Movement
- Keep your elbows close to your torso and pull them toward your waist.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades back and pause briefly.
- Slowly extend your arms while feeling the resistance.
Breathing
Exhale as you pull, inhale as you extend.
Cautions
- If your chest lifts off the bench, you are using momentum. Keep your chest against it as you pull.
- If your elbows flare out, the lat engagement from the underhand grip decreases.
