Band Standing Reverse Curl
How to do it
Starting position
- Stand on the center of the band with both feet.
- Grip the ends with both hands with the backs of your hands facing up.
- Lightly tuck your elbows against your sides.
Movement
- Keep your wrists straight and pull up leading with the backs of your hands.
- Pause briefly at the top.
- Lower slowly against the resistance.
Breathing
Exhale as you pull, inhale as you lower.
Cautions
- If your wrists bend, only your wrists will hurt. Keep the back of your hands and forearms aligned as one flat unit.
- It is normal to be weaker here than on bicep curls. Start with one level lighter tension.
