Kneeling Push-Up
How to do it
Starting position
- Place your knees on the floor and get down on your hands and knees.
- Place your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
- Look down at the floor.
- Form a straight line from your head to your knees.
Movement
- Bend your elbows and lower your upper body.
- Lower yourself until right before your chest touches the floor.
- Push away from the floor and return to the starting position.
Breathing
Inhale as you lower your upper body and exhale as you push up.
Cautions
- If your lower back sags, it can cause lumbar pain, so brace your abs.
- Bending your wrists excessively strains the joints, so distribute your weight.
