Suspension Abduction Lunge
How to do it
Starting position
- Lower the strap to about ankle height.
- Place the top of one foot in the strap and position it to the side.
- Clasp your hands in front of your chest to keep your balance.
Movement
- Open the leg in the strap out to the side as you squat down on your standing leg.
- Lower down until the thigh of your standing leg is parallel to the floor.
- Push through your standing leg to stand up as you bring the strapped leg back in.
- Complete the target reps and switch legs.
Breathing
Inhale as you squat down, exhale as you stand up.
Cautions
- The straps sway, so start with a shallow depth.
- Make sure the knee of your standing leg does not deviate from the direction of your toes.
