Elbow Flexor Stretch
How to do it
Starting position
- Stand next to a wall and extend your arm behind you.
- Place your palm against the wall.
- Turn your hand so your thumb points down.
Movement
- Keep your elbow straight and slowly rotate your torso the other way.
- Stop where your bicep stretches.
- Hold, then repeat on the opposite side.
Breathing
Exhale as you rotate, and breathe slowly while holding.
Cautions
- If your elbows bend, the tension disappears.
- If you shrug your shoulders up, your neck tenses instead.
