Demo (loops)

How to do it

Starting position

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs straight
  2. Loop a towel around the center of your foot
  3. Hold both ends of the towel with both hands
  4. Straighten your back and look forward

Movement

  1. Pull your elbows back while contracting your back
  2. Push your chest out and pull the towel toward your body
  3. Slowly extend your arms and return to the starting position

Breathing

Exhale as you pull the towel and inhale as you release

Cautions

  • If your back rounds, it can cause a back injury, so keep your spine upright
  • If your shoulders shrug, it strains your traps, so lower your shoulders

If you feel pain during the exercise, stop. If it continues, talk to a professional.
