Suspension Rollout
How to do it
Starting position
- Adjust the strap length and hold the handles with both hands.
- Stand with your feet apart and lean your body slightly forward.
- Extend your arms and pull your shoulders down to lock them in place.
- Squeeze your glutes and pull your ribs down.
Movement
- Extend your arms forward and up as you move your body forward.
- Go forward only as far as your torso stays in a straight line.
- Hold so your hands do not spread out to the sides.
- Pull with your abs and lats to return to the starting position.
Breathing
Inhale as you roll out, exhale as you return.
Cautions
- If your lower back arches, stop immediately and reduce your rollout distance.
- The farther back you place your feet, the harder it gets, so adjust gradually.
- Check that the strap anchor point is secure every time.
