Calves Hamstrings Isolation Bodyweight
Demo (loops)

How to do it

Starting position

  1. Stand facing the wall and place both hands on the wall shoulder-width apart
  2. Step one foot back about one large step
  3. Point the toes of both feet toward the wall

Movement

  1. Keep your torso upright and slowly bend your front knee
  2. Shift your weight so your back foot is flat on the floor
  3. Hold while maintaining the stretch in the back of your calf

Breathing

Breathe deeply and comfortably while holding the position

Trainer tips

  • Place your hands on the wall, straighten your back knee, and keep your heel on the floor

Cautions

  • If your lower back arches excessively, it can cause pain, so brace your abs
  • Letting the heels lift, preventing the stretch

If you feel pain during the exercise, stop. If it continues, talk to a professional.
